Centrifuge launched an institutional RWA market on Base using the Morpho protocol and the newly founded Treasury Advisory Group started its mandate for the Centrifuge DAO with the release of the first Treasury Report Q2 2024! This, and much more, can be found in this newsletter!

Community

The Community is represented primarily by individuals and organizations that are actively participating in governance, contributing to processes and discourse, and are economically tied to the success of Centrifuge.

  • Centrifuge announced this month the launch of the first RWA lending market on Base using the Morpho Protocol. :moneybag: The market represents a significant step in creating new financial onchain infrastructure by:
    • First market launched with multiple RWA issuers
    • First RWA Market on Base
    • First institutional use case of Coinbase Verifications

Governance

  • To get an overview see the monthly Governance update provided by the Governance & Coordination Group. A most recently closed proposal to give a mandate to the Treasury advisory group and a current one for the Recovery of lost tokens in a bridge transaction.
  • The Treasury Advisory Group (TAG) has gotten its mandate and the group presented the first Treasury Report for Q2 2024. The goal is to show the state of the treasury including holdings, inflows, outflows, and overall financial performance. Are you curious to know more about the Treasury Advisory Group (TAG) in general? It is a team of experts tasked with advising on all treasury-related activities for the Centrifuge DAO.
