High-Level Objective

Enable seamless transfer of 17,481,573 CFG tokens from the DAO Treasury on Polkadot to the CNF wallet on Ethereum, finishing the migration of legacy tokens on the Ethereum network.

Background

Centrifuge is undergoing a strategic migration from Polkadot to Ethereum to enhance its interoperability, liquidity, and long-term scalability. As part of this transition, the Centrifuge Network Foundation (CNF) supported institutional partners and VCs in migrating their legacy CFG tokens. These partners transferred their CFG holdings to the Centrifuge DAO Treasury on Polkadot, and Centrifuge Network Foundation transferred an equivalent amount of CFG tokens to the Ethereum network, facilitating the migration of legacy tokens.

This proposal seeks to authorise the final step: transferring the received CFG tokens from the DAO Treasury to the CNF Ethereum wallet.

To build trust with DAO holders throughout this process, CNF should provide a clear and transparent monitoring dashboard for the Ethereum wallet.

The DAO should use this opportunity to establish a balanced approach between institutional and retail participants.
For instance, part of the DAO Treasury could be allocated to retail grants and incentive programs.
