Hello Centrifuge community,
It is great to also introduce ourselves for being a collator for centrifuge. We find it very important to run both nodes, canarynet and mainnet to keep ahead of possible bugs. In this way we can get better prepared for any updates on the mainnet. We are a team which is experienced in running multiple nodes, all with redundant running nodes and backups. We have posted our collator introduction for Altair and with this post we are also applying for Centrifuge. Read below to know more about Staker Space.
About us
We at Staker Space are honored to be part of the first cohort of centrifuge (solochain) validators since April 2020. We got in touch with the team after understanding what they wanted to achieve, which is a ground-breaking mission and got involved in the centrifuge chain as a validator. We are actively participating in the governance, usage of the built applications and securing the Centrifuge network. See also our first Validator introduction back in April 2020 click here!
We are an experienced dedicated team that is focused on decentralization and security of different blockchain networks. Staker Space supports many substrate based chains and other chains in which we are validators or collators.To give an example. We are validators for Polkadot since day-1 and never got slashed. Same goes for Kusama. Since the roll-out of parachains we also actively collate on acala, edgeware, karura,moonbeam and moonriver.
For us the goal is simple, we support networks we want to see thrive and achieve their goal. In order for that to happen decentralization and up-time is an important component. This is where we come in. In order to achieve decentralization we carefully pick our server locations and make sure not to locate in crowded places in case of an outage.
- Soon we are switching to our own co-located servers.
- We care for a diversified set of collators/validators.
- We have monitoring and redundant services running.
- All nodes are monitored with prometheus stack to maximize uptime.
- Alerts are directly pushed to all members of the team which is 24/7 available.
- We try to make sure to have as little as possible down-time.
- We are active participants in governance of the network.
Performance
As for our previous performance on the halted centrifuge we have been rewarded with 5483 points on average over the last 85 era’s.
