Grab your suit, a floatie, and a drink – we’re diving into our second Pool Party!

As a refresher, the Pool Party is our monthly event for Pools to tell their story directly to the Centrifuge Community and to spread the message of RWAs being funded through Decentralized Finance.

The Pool Party provides:

  • A platform for the people managing Pools atop the Centrifuge Protocol to tell their story, explain their business model, and share their vision of the future.
  • An opportunity for the Centrifuge Community to dive deeper and build relationships with the organizations and the people that are financing real-world assets in DeFi through the Centrifuge protocol.
  • A place for DeFi participants to ask questions and understand the size of real-world assets and the value they provide to the decentralized finance ecosystem as a whole.

We’re excited this month to bring you REIF, led by Ben Ames, who is managing the REIF Pool on Centrifuge.

REIF (Real Estate Investment Fund) is an asset management company focusing on acquiring commercial real estate assets from established asset originators. REIF was founded in 2021. REIF will loan capital secured by real estate to finance commercial and construction projects. This pool will consist of a portfolio of first and second secured position commercial real estate loans. The initial asset originator is Forge & Foster, a commercial real estate developer based in Ontario, Canada with $250 million CAD in assets under management of commercial real estate.
