Older (but active) pools dissapeared from UI

I am seeing and getting quite a few questions from people who cannot access their positions in the UI, because they are in pools that suddenly appear to no longer be supported on the frontend.

Pools like Consolfreight, Harbor Trade 1754 factory, New Silver, Series 3, Cauris, among others. I know some of these pools have low TVL or appear to be heavily impaired, or are otherwise being phased out. Users still have substantial postions in them though and without the UI its very hard to know these positions (in part due to the shared contract pool withdrawal mechanism Centrifuge implemented), let alone to issue or claim a withdrawal. Why are these pools not accessible through the UI anymore?

I know some of these pools might be something the Centrifuge team would rather forget, and I can understand they prefer to highlight newer and more successful pools. However, I think Centrifuge should keep these pools accessible for users. Perhaps the team can make a “show legacy pools” toggle switch, so it’s not on the main dashboard. Or provide an alternative link to legacy pools.

I tried reaching out to the team directly first, but my questions and those of other creditors are not being answered anymore. Why is the Centrifuge team ignoring questions about this? Lucas Vogelsang and Centrifuges main counsel Eli Cohen have been asked by creditors on multiple occassions, and have pretty much stopped responding to any inquiries. Either they will not respond at all or they will deflect with a generic legal response like: “It’s not Centrifuge’s responsibility”. I think it clearly is largely Centrifuge’s responsibility. Centrifuge built the frontend, they supported the counterparties in setting up and integrating the pools, they actively promoted the pools to get users and TVL in, they enabled users to access the pools, and now you cut off access or any other form of support or transparency.

I think the team should provide guidance and updates on the status of impaired pools or pools that are being phased out, but keeping the UI accessible is the absolute minimum they owe users. They were the only platform to access these pools, and after users have already been impaired, further insult is added to injury by Centrifuge, by not only not helping the affected users, but also deliberately removing any access or insight.

Should users be worried that today’s highlighted pools will also suddenly go unsupported in the future? Can current users count on the platforms and teams’ responsibility and reliability? Or are we waiting for the next impairment being brushed away by the team. There seems to be a pattern of hiding information and lack of support, hiding behind decentralization. When other DeFi players that also have decentralized protocols have proven perfectly able to protect and support their users when setbacks occur

Good day @tommyqeth
Thank you for reaching out.

All investors can always contact the Issuer of the pool or reach out to Centrifuge Support. We haven’t received any emails from investors reporting issues with accessing their positions.
Could you please clarify who these people are and why they are contacting you instead of the Issuer or Centrifuge Support?

Over the past year, Centrifuge has completed several upgrades and migrations. Legacy pools such as Consolfreight, Harbor Trade 1754 Factory, New Silver, New Silver 2 Series 3, Cauris, and others are no longer open to public investment.
As follows, all these pools are still maintained and remain accessible through a dedicated link.

Could you please send me a DM with a screenshot of your message and the email address you used?
I just checked, and I couldn’t find any request associated with your email.

I completely agree. And that is exactly how things are set up today.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask here.
If you are an investor and are experiencing issues accessing a legacy pool, please contact Support directly is the best option for privacy reasons.
For investment‑specific questions, please reach out to the Issuer.

I have asked Lucas and Eli multiple times, and they ignored me and other stakeholders. Why couldn’t they give the above answers or refer us to support or provide a dedicated link? https://app.centrifuge.io/ has no support button or email listed, so naturally I ask the people in charge of the protocol. Centrifuge.io has a contact us page, but that seems for partnerships and marketing

Why hasnt Centrifuge pro-actively communicated about how these pools can be accessed like you did above?

I think it would be better to just make these dedicated links accesible on the website or on this forum. Or at the very least a support option. This is rather user unfriendly and it feels its made difficult and opaque by design.

Thanks either way for answering, I will reach out to support to obtain the dedicated link and will tell others that have asked me to do the same. At what email can I reach support?

Hi @tommyqeth

If an investor cannot access a pool, the best first step is to reach out to Centrifuge support directly. There are several ways to do this:

  1. Centrifuge Discord
  2. Centrifuge Discord Private Ticket
  3. Centrifuge Email
  4. Centrifuge Contact Form via the official website
  5. Centrifuge Forum
  6. Twitter
  7. Telegram via DM

Please note that pool access is reserved for verified investors only.

For direct support, you can reach the team at support@centrifuge.io . They’ll be happy to help!
