I have 25 years experience in financial analysis and credit. I started my careeer at ING as an EM equity analyst. I setup an Investment Managment operation for ING in Prague. I ran a $300 mn fund for the Insurance company and launched retail product. I returned to London and wrote some of ING’s first European High Yield research. I went on to join a team of principals managing a hedge fund focused on Central Europe. We also managed a portfolio of Western European High Yield credits for Erste Bank. Currently I focus on the private debt markets. With my partner, Fernando Sanchez I develope a strategy focused on consumer credit and we have recently opened the MarkitLend US Consumer Credit Fund. That strategy has returned on average 7.5% per annum.
