# Runtime Upgrade #2 to extend Council to 7 seats

The current [Runtime Upgrade Proposal #2](https://gov.centrifuge.io/t/runtime-upgrade-proposal-2/106) which bundles support for the [ChainSafe Bridge Pallet](https://github.com/ChainSafe/chainbridge-substrate) will, if passed, also increase the council size to 7 members.

The current council of 5 members include from the Centrifuge team:

- Lucas
- Martin
- Miguel
- Ved
- Cassidy

This extension aims to include other members of the Centrifuge community on the council.

There is currently one candidate, [ChorusOne](https://gov.centrifuge.io/t/validator-introduction-chorus-one/36)!
