# CP52 (GI): Changes to our CP Framework and Governance Process

This proposal was discussed in the RFC [here](https://gov.centrifuge.io/t/rfc-changes-to-our-cp-framework-and-governance-process/5448) and has been submitted to the Proposal Repository on GitHub so it is now final.

There were some changes made, compared to the initial RFC, related to OpenSquare snapshots (off-chain voting).

Changes or improvements proposed:

- Improving/simplifying our current Governance Process

The proposal has now moved on to an OpenSquare Snapshot.

The OpenSquare snapshot for [CP52 has passed](https://voting.opensquare.io/p/138).

The changes to our governance process has now gone into effect and the relevant documentation will be updated.
