# Adjustment of Altair collator rewards

The plan is to implement the same mechanism on Altair as described in [this reply](https://gov.centrifuge.io/t/rfc-add-a-block-reward-and-improve-collators-cycle/4766/19).

Meanwhile, I personally think it makes sense to adjust the rewards until it is implemented on Altair as long as the rewards are made manually as monthly Treasury proposals on Altair.
